[Yaesu] IC-756PRO vs. FT-1000MP Field

I am sure that this has been kicked around before, but I have missed it! 
I currently have an IC-756PRO, and recently have owned a FT-1000MP (got
rid of the MP and kept the PRO).  I am considering getting rid of the PRO
and going for a Field.  What are the Pros and Cons of both?  I do some
contesting, some DXing, transverter operation, all of that would be of
interest to me.  Should I keep the PRO or get a Field?  I would also like
to hear from those who have done A/B operation.  Thanks!
