A manual is available from the Yaesu web page, in .PFD format.
I forget the URL for getting it, but I did get one there. It's about 1.5 meg big.
Anyways, once you have a frequency set, push the TN key, that's the
one to the right of the 6 key. Push it quickly, don't hold it down. Once
for tone on transmit, a 2nd time for tone on both tx and rx, a 3rd time
for digital PL, a 4th time for no tones.
Then, push the F key for a second, then touch the TN key again,
and you'll get the tone numbers. Scroll with the small knob on top to
get the numbers you want, then push TN again. Then memorize the
frequency in one of your memories.
I need to get a new set of buttons for mine, or take apart and clean
them. :-( Good luck!
