[Yaesu] FT-1000 + Palomar P-410X

Hello folks

I wonder if anyone has experience with the combination
FT-1000 and the Palomar P-410X preamplifier.
I just received the preamp but some modifications must be done,is there =
somebody who has more information on this device.
I plan to use it on top band and 80 metres with shielded loop antennas.
