I have a NYE VIKING myself never heard of pulsar....
I have had MFJ. Not really that bad used it for years before the NYE but wanted 
a better tuner for 160.
.. REVIEWS...
Well think about the THOUSANDS that have been sold.
For most hams the MFJ is fine. IMHO
