Hart,
On the lower power side MFJ makes the 969, t-type tuner with roller
inductor, balun, and dummy load. It will tune and switch between two coax
lines, balanced line like 300 ohm twinlead, and end-fed long wire. The coax
lines can feed dipoles, verticals, yagis, and in my case off-center fed
dipole. The tuner has cross needle meters, and also will tune 6 meters. The
8 position switch will also allow one to select the outputs and dummy load
with the tuner in line or bypass the tuner. This is handy for me as I use
the builtin tuner in my rig with the off-center fed dipole. Only problem is
I can't get the high power setting reflected power meter to be turned all
the way down to 0, need a little mod there. The t-type antenna tuner is the
most versatile available, capable of tuning both high and low impedance.
Hope this is of interest.
