[Yaesu] FRG-100 CAT question

Hi.
How many "CATs" can the FRG-100 handle 8^) Now that the levity is over and
everyone's booing my bad joke here's the real question.

I've found a number of circuits on the web to homebrew my own CAT interface
for this receiver. What little information I've been able to find out about
the FRG-100 indicates that the receiver has only a one way CAT interface.
That is, you can send data TO the receiver but nor read information such as
frequency, mode etc FROM the receiver back to the computer. At least that
is what it looks like since I've only seen one data line on the plug for the
receiver.

Since all the interface circuits I've found "presume" two way data flow I
also presume that only half the interface is used in the case of the "FROG"
100. If so I can simplify the interface I build by eliminating the one
path.

CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE CONFIRM IF THE FRG-100 HAS UNIDIRECTIONAL OR
BIDIRECTIONAL DATA FLOW? I won't have the receiver here so that I can check
the manual until after the 23rd of August.
