[Yaesu] FT-900 Questions

Hi John...
The "C" in CAT stands for Collins. This CAT designation has
confused people in the past since Yaesu also uses the term "CAT System"
as a name for their computer control scheme. But the C is for Collins
indicating that the mechanical filter is installed, and the "AT" shows
that the automatic antenna tuner is installed. All versions of the
FT-900 are, however, "CAT System compatable" meaning they are computer
controllable.
