[Yaesu] FT-1000MP Locked Up

A local had a problem with a FT 1000D a few years ago.  Seems that a board
was loose
and Milt Lord N4DA (The radio Doctor) fixed it in one short bench session.
I had a TS-940
that was working fine on my bench and I took it to a hamfest.  The fellow
that bought it told me the next day it stuck on FM mode and 10 meters.  I
told him to take it to Milt and again he told me that a board or two had
disconnected (his words).   I lost a few bucks but the transceiver is still
in use today (6 years later). Another local ham in the repair business told
me that loose boards and bad connections were the problem in nearly 3/4 of
his repairs!
