[Yaesu] FT-1000MP Locked Up

FT-1000MP was working fine before UPS shipping.
Now when powered up no buttons work except MOX and VOX . Both tuning 
dials work fine. Receive is fine and knobs such as volume work fine. I 
have tried the power up resets listed in the manual and frequency will 
revert to 7.000 but buttons still do not work. I have also tried turning 
off the backup battery. Called Yaesu in CA, they had no idea. Anyone on 
the list have any ideas?
