Gene,

There is really no need to use an outboard audio DSP "box" such as the
DSP-59Y with the IC-756Pro. The Pro's DSP functionality completely overlaps
that of the DSP-59Y, with the added advantage that the Pro's IF bandpass
filtering and tuneable notch filter are inside the AGC loop.

Looking for PC (Windows 98 )  computer software (and software manual)
for a Timewave DSP-59Y

It is installed in a Yaesu SP-6 (as it should be).

Cables would be nice to an ICOM 756PRO or 706 II.
or to Yaesu FT-990 or FT-101EE (if that is possible,  is it?)

Was this primarily designed for FT-990?
