Darrell,

The difference is in the filtering as I understand.

If you want to run a multi-mode TNC, you use the RTTY port.  I have my KAM+
hooked up to that and run all sorts of stuff through it.  The RTTY port will
handle FSK or AFSK.

Use the RTTY port and you'll be fine.
