I purchased this radio on E-BAY a few months ago from an SWL listing it as
in working condition.It has intermittent audio out, but meter still reads
out the same no matter. Also told bad solder joint somewhere. It supposedly
is general coverage receiver now with the brown wire snipped.I have
transmitted with it on 20 meters and it worked fine-pile up-1st call-20
over.Don't believe previous owner ever used transmitter as thats what he
claims.Could be a simple fix for the right guy which is not me.I will stay
with my Drake and Collins gear.Has AM/SSB/CW filters.I would love to keep it
as when it works it's awesome and compact, but don't want to send it all
over to service it. One of you guys are talented and could have a nice rig.I
paid $267.00 for it and would like the same.Contact me if interested.
