[Yaesu] HIGH FAILURE RATE ON YAESU FT-8000 SERIES

Hi, Yaesu subscribers,

Just read an article on QRZ about the high failure rate on the FT-8000 
series radios
(8000, 8100, 8500 etc.)

I have had my 8000 back 3 times for the same thing.  I wonder how many 
others have had a similar experience.  I would like to document this.

I would be interested in receiving your information..... just a short 
e-mail with

Radio type  FT-8XXX
Number of times returned.
Problem symptoms  ( a FEW words.)
