[Yaesu] Yaesu FT-900CAT VFOs?

I had an FT-840 and it had dual band stacking registers in the VFOs, as I
understand it, if I went to 10 meters and pushed  A VFO it would return the
10 meter CW frequency previously set. If while there I pushed B VFO it would
return the SSB frequency previously set. If I went to 15 meters and toggled
between A and B it would return the 15 CW and SSB frequencies previously
set, and so with the other bands. The brochure says that the
FT-900 has this feature, but I can't figure how to do it.When I toggle the
VFO button I get the frequency that was last set on the other VFO regardless
of band. Is it because the 900 has band buttons and the 840 used up and down
to change bands? Any suggestions?
