For starters go get some clip on ferrites and put them on both the power 
cord and the coax lead in to the TV .....as close to TV end of the cords as 
possible..  This is not guaranteed  as the noise could be "radiated" as 
opposed to "conducted". It is worth a try. I had the same problem with a 
19" Viewsonic monitor here in the shack. While the ferrites didn't 
completely cure the problem they did reduce it.

While John has opened the thread let me ask  does anyone have any 
experience with flat panel displays as noise generators, I am (hoping) 
guessing that they may be quieter because the don't have to generate the 
same level of scan voltages for the sweep???? Any first hand observations?
