[Yaesu] Problem with main tuning knob on FT920

Hi Ron,

Does it wobble when stationary or just when you tune it ??

If it's only when you turn the knob then: Common to a number of Yaesu radios
is an out-of-round knob. The metal insert (brass, I believe) in the back
center of the knob that is set-screwed to the shaft is not centered exactly
in the knob, giving a 'wobble' look&feel.

Some rigs have an adjustment for this, other don't. I've heard of Yaesu
exchanging the knobs on some rigs still in warranty, but not sure about used
ones. The new knob has been reported better in some cases and worse in
others.

Shame, because it makes an other wise nice rig feel 'cheap'.
