[Yaesu] FT-847 ALC and hello

New to the mail list, so first let me say hello, and then dump my troubles=

on you=2E  hi hi=2E

I've got the 847, with power fully clockwise and mic gain about 11 o'clock=
,
I get no ALC reading, and no power out=2E Even with the processor on=2E

I get power out with Mic gain fully clockwise, and RF power fully
clockwise, with the processor on, and whistling into the mic=2E

I have tried both the stock mic, and the heil headset=2E Same results=2E

Has anyone ever encountered this, and if so=2E=2E=2E Is this an expensive =
fix?
