If your Mark V will tune the antenna, so will the Quadra.

Hello, I am very interested in the readings about the Quadra. I have
been seriously looking at getting the amp. I am partially disabled so
the automated function is a big thing for me. I am happy with the
Ameritron AL-1500 and the converted SB-220 for 6 meters, but I am always
tuning. My question is can anyone of you give me help on the tuning
capabilities of the QUADRA. I have a Rotatable Dipole on 80M and I have
it tuned to 3650. Reason for that is that I do alot of operating on both
the CW portion 3505 and the DX window 3790. The SWR is 1.2 at 3650, but
it goes to 3.5 to 4 at 3505 and 3790. Anyone have an idea if the Quadra
will tune this? I have an external tuner now that works fine, but would
just as soon not have one if I got the quadra. My Mark V will tune this
if I engage it. Also, I use the FH-1 remote with my Mark V and it seems
that I will lose that function with using the Quadra. Thanks for any
help. 73 John W9RPM
