Had the same problem when using a random wire ant. directly out the back of
the ant. coupler years ago.  Microphone had coiled wire.  Shoved large
ferrite rod from old AM radio antenna into coiled cord and problem
disappeared.  Perhaps the clamp on ferrites you can get from Radio Shack et
al might work.  Can't hurt to try it.
