[Yaesu] Request for opinions-Yaesu Repair and cost of radios

Congrats Mort,
You must have found the BEST of the BIG three.
I think they are all the SAME I have had them all.

I buy what I think (IMHO) is right for me. I don't EXPECT any support from any
of the BIG three either. That's the way it has been for many many years in most
things/products..I am sure you have learned that by now.

I usually have a budget and buy the MOST radio I can for that budget, just like
the rest of my hobbies. And again the experience is the same in OTHER HOBBIES
huge lack of support or concern from the MANUFACTURE.

I do not have a brand loyalty..years ago I did..but they changed that.

Another thing WHY has the cost of JAPAN radios stayed so high. It's a 
conspiracy I think. Look at the economics of Japan in the last few yesrs. The 
YEN is no where near the HIGH it was 3-6 years ago. We should of had BIG price
reductions on Japanese made products. But we are not seeing it here in the USA.
