[Yaesu] Request for opinions-Yaesu Repair

I sent my FT1000mp to Yaesu to have it receiver aligned, battery changed and
the display inverter replaced.
Yaesu received the radio on 8/30/01 and I got it back on 12/15/01. So much
for 6 - 8 weeks turn around.
