[Yaesu] FT-102 Question

Hi Gang,

I have an FT-102 that seems to have a audio chain problem. Something "went"
over the weekend and the mic gain is almost unmanageable. I use to run a
Heil mic with the mic gain set at about 12 o'clock. With this setting, the
ALC would rarely have needle movement on the meter. Now ... I have to run
the mic gain at 7 0'clock, and the ALC is 50 to 75% on the scale. I also
detect a faint hum through the monitor with no mic connected. I may have
over driven the input to the rig. Any thoughts on this problem would be
greatly appreciated. I haven't talked to Mal yet.
