Yes,  the plastic trimmer for the reference crystal is going bad. You can
just pop the board out and change. Here a Hot tip. Yaesu use to have the
optional TCXO in stock at there parts department for $30.00 dollars. I think
it was selling for over 150.00 at the ham stores. They did not advertise
this. you had to ask. The last time I called them they had over 100 in
stock. Call them to see if they have them. I'm sure they still do !!
