My FT1000D is a 6.0
The invoice date (shipping date) for my FT1000D was 8 March 2000 but it was
back into Yaesu in July same year, again in December and last time March
2001 and the word was that all the latest mods were put in. The serial no.
is 9K640015

You've got me baffled on that question Larry.

As far as I know, all FT-1000 tranceivers have a "1.5" key
on the keypad (same as selecting the 160 Meter band).

Take another look...
