Several points in the FT-100 did not come with positive grounding. They have a mod on it somewhere..I sent mine to Yaesu a year or ago and they did it for me and didn't charge me. Problem was that my screwdriver antenna didn't work half the time. When I got it back worked like a charm! Gary Johnston K5QFB
