Steve,

I bought the FT-100 2 years back.  Some people have had problems with some
bands.  I checked mine and must be lucky.  I installed the AM filter for SWL
which is a huge improvement.  I would not get one without the AM filter.  I
ran it mobile for 10m, 2m and 70cm with no problems.  Just check it on all
bands as soon as it arrives to avoid any problems.

finally out of this radio. I want to run H.F. mobile and maybe use it for
2/440 also and with the price down to 839.00 I would like to buy the antenna
system by Yaesu also unless someone could give me some better advice. I have
a Honda Accord, 98 model EX and that is what I wan to put it in. I would
appreciate any and all feedback. Everyone seems to run the Icom 706 but I am
not a fan of Icom and would really like the FT100D unless it still has a lot
of problems. I have read some on Eham that the bugs have been worked out but
