[Yaesu] Summary: FT-1000D / Mk V ... Should I trade?

Hi Gang-

  Wow+ICY I received a lot of excellent responses to this thread.

  By far, most responses were similar to this one:
   +IBw-I wouldn't trade at all. I have had the MP, the Mark V and the 10=
00D.
Got rid of all of them except the D and then recently sold it to a nice g=
uy.
Wish I had kept it. The 1000D is head and shoulders above the others.
Frankly, I think my FT-990 is better than the MP's.+IB0

  Another good suggestion was to trade rigs for a week to try it,
but I would just be teasing the poor guy;  I would probably want my +IBg-=
D
back, and I know he would want to keep it!

  Well, here goes- I am going KEEP both of my D+IBk-s, and if a MK V
crosses my path, at an irresistable price, maybe it will get =

added to my brag list  :^)
