John,

Noise blankers have been a concern of my for many years. I have found that
late model Kenwoods have superior NB's. I have used TS-120,450,850, and
presently a TS-2000 and they appear to get progressively better. I have
compared my TS-2000 to my IC-706, FT-847 and FT-100 in mobile use and find
the 2000 much superior. The FT-100 and IC-706 have very poor NB, in my
opinion, as compared to Kenwood rigs.
