Its an Alt FUNC action using the T-SEL button Pres.......It is in
all 530s....the A as well as the E models
The normal T-sel is for CTCSS....but by pressing the FUNC button
then T-sel THEN FUNC again, that toggles OFF the beep...btw once this
is done, you can merely press the PTT to get back to normal KB ops..

(two FT530s in the shack...I'd sell them but they work so damn
good...but maybe its time to change to a THF6 from Kenwood...YIKES :)
