Genave GTX 600 (I was!)

Kenwood Trio 6mtr AM/FM portable

among others...

True in the 50s, FM was using converted commercial 80Ds (or more than
likely preProgress coffin rigs, Link Brand radios and other similar
gear)
BUT the original statement was that FM was not a common mode during the
time the 620/B was made...which is totally untrue...there were more
FMers
than SSBers on 6....but then there were more AMers period!
BTW MSTR IIs didnt make much impact into the amateur circles until the
80s
as they were NEW and Expensive models in the 70s!
