Have my FT-747GX, I am original owner, and I am tired of sending it to Yaesu or others to correct a on-again/ off-again problem. I have been told it is due to cold solder joints ?? It will work like a charm, some time for days, other times the freq will 'step'. Anyway, it apparently needs some TLC that me and my eyesight cannot undertake.
