[Yaesu] HIGH FAILURE RATE ON YAESU FT-50R ?

Y'all:
What's the scoop on the FT50R.  I've two that have failed.  One has no TX
audio[a gift], the other ( Brand New) last year, won't remember power
settings if swiched between channels.  Anybody have similar problems or
