In case you missed getting the air for "CQ Magazine's" 6&2 Meter Contest a couple of weeks ago, here is your chance to operate in the ARRL's  222MHz (135 cm) & Up Event on Saturday and Sunday, 07-08 August 2021 instead.
The contest runs from 11:00AM PDT on Saturday until 10:59AM PDT on Sunday.
Any & all modes on any and all amateur frequencies from 222 MHz & up are permitted, except that repeaters shall not be used. You can operate from home or Rove. Unlike other contests, Roving is like being Mobile: you do not need to change Grid Locators.
Speaking of Grid locators, for a contact to be valid, callsigns must be exchanged along with 6 digit grid locators.
Scoring is primarily based on number of QSOs AND total distance worked.
Full rules are located at:     contests.arrl.org/222
I do plan some Roving activity in Grid DM04 on the following bands: 222-225 MHz, 420-450 MHz; 902-928 MHz; 1240-1300 MHz bands.
Most commonly used frequencies used are:
222.1 MHz USB223.5 MHz FM Simplex
432.1 MHz USB446.0 FM Simplex
902.1 MHz USB927.5 MHz FM Simplex (A variety of other freq may be used to to non-amateur interference!)
1296.1 MHz USB1269 MHz FM Simplex
Some groups use frequencies as high as 20 or 25 GHz!
Good Luck to All!
