Due to an addressing error, this SPRINT information was not distributed in a timely manner to many Ventura County hams, back on Friday, 20sept2019. I shall attempt not to make a mistake in the future.

THE FALL 2019 VHF/UHF SPRINT OPERATING EVENTS BEGIN ON MONDAY, 23 SEPT 2019 

a.      The 2 Meter (144.2USB/CW +/- ; 146.52 or other Simplex Freq. FM; etc Event will be held from 7PM -11PM PDT on Monday, 23 September 2019

b.      The 135 cm (222.1USB/CW; 223.5FM) Event will be held from 7PM – 11 PM PDT on Tuesday, 01 October 2019

c.      The 70 cm (432.1USB/CW; 446.0FM) Event will be held from 7PM – 11 PM PDT on Wednesday, 09 October 2019

d.      The 33cm & up (9021SSB; 927.5FM + other freq.! ) Event will be held from 8AM – 2PM PDT on Saturday, 12 October 2019

The SPRINTS are an excellent way to use only 1 band per date for a simple, laid back operating event. It is a great way to practice and determine the capabilities of your VHF/UHF station by operating Simplex, without using Repeaters. You can be pleasantly surprised by how far you can communicate. 

Contest exchange is callsigns & 4 digit Grid (6 digit grid for 33cm & higher!)
