i saw your message on the cali page...

are you going to be a rover this weekend?

i have no clue about any usable locations that far south.

i suggest you post a query to the wswss email reflector (wswss at mailman.qth.net - i'm sure you'll have to register at qth.com)

or email a couple of the active rovers from the socal contest club... wayne n6nb and his gang come to mind...

others could be found by looking at vhf contest results then hunting down emails from qrz.com

and/or contact the guys at the clovis radio pioneers club http://www.k6arp.org/  and rob would be a good contact, his email ae6ge at k6arp.org

they're the w6tv (and k6arp) multiop guys and they operate somewhere near the grape vine
