[Wswss] Calling Freq Reminder

As you probably know by now, the rules for ARRL VHF-and-up contests have
been changed to allow contacts and solicitation of contacts on 146.520, the
national two-meter FM calling frequency. The intent of this change is to
allow contesters to get the attention of non-contesters who may be listening
there and, thereby, expand the pool of participants and available contacts.
Please remember that no recognized calling frequency should be monopolized
during a contest. The best use is to get the attention of those listening
and then move to another frequency on the same band. We do not want to take
over a calling frequency, alienate non-contesters and cause a backlash that
could create pressure to reverse the rule change.

Let's make the re-introduction of 146.520 a positive thing that introduces
newcomers to the enjoyment of contesting.

73,

Marty N6VI
