Gentlemen,
My experience with 1296 is more disaster than success.  This evening I went
up the hill and set-up to shout CQ with needles wiggling on the TR741 and
Kuhne TR1296H-144S and antenna pointed as in last week's episode...all to no
avail.  I'm certain it's operator error, thus I search a cohort who has time
to fritter away while I twist and shout.  Any volunteers for an afternoon of
frustration?
KE6GFI is recuperating and, barring unforeseen madness, I'll CU on Thursday,
same time same place.
