Hello all, as you may know it's the ARRL UHF contest this weekend, starting at 11am Saturday.

I'll be on from CM98ig and looking for SSB, CW, FM and JT65A contacts on 222 to 1296MHz. No 902 (blown mixer) but 927.5 FM ok.

I'll be scrounging for QSOs the old fashioned way, by calling CQ and hunting around BUT ALSO...

I plan on taking advantage of the NEW ARRL RULES.

"6.5. All entrants, regardless of category, are permitted to use spotting assistance or nets including but not limited to DX-alerting nets, internet chat rooms, APRS and other packet, reverse beacon networks and repeaters to identify stations available for contacts and to announce (self-spot) their availability for contacts. Announcements shall be limited to call sign, location, band or frequency, mode and–if applicable–transmitting sequence and listening direction..."

So I will be online at "The Cali VHF UHF Page" http://www.n6sjv.org

Please consider stopping by. To post, registration only takes a moment and no email is required.

All are welcome to utilize for spotting, self-spotting, announcements, QSO coordination and contest related chat.

Thanks 73 Tom WA6OSX
