January 8, 2015: The gods of propagation were with us!  Unfortunately those
who could have benefitted most were silent.  Clearly defined inversion layer
at about 1500 feet with a cloud bank laying along the coast (in inland) at
about 700 feet made for a pleasant duct which enabled W6QIW Santa Barbara to
come in at 9 plus without fade or warble.

In any event, the FMers are taking advantage of the net with seven versus
the 13 for sidebanders.  But this was the first net of the year, so
improvements on both side are expected as the year progresses.
