SOAPBOX: I heard a number of multi-second single hop Es openings, but didn’t 
accomplish much. Six of the 8 QSOs made during the Sprint were with locals here in 
Ventura Co., CA. I did not spend too much time on this Sprint because I’d
participated with communications during the 1000 rider “Cruising The Conejo” bicycle event
held earlier in the day. This year, I managed to 
get on the air from DM04 for all 5 Spring Sprint events from 6 meters through 23 Cm.
