Hi all

Replying to the query regarding MS contact during contest.  While I didn't
make the recent ARRL contest, I've tried MS for four or five prior
contests.

I've had little luck making MS contacts during ARRL contest.  Much better
success during the CQ VHF contest.  Despite attempt to make skeds prior to
contest, only one station ever responded to my request for a sked.  That
leaves random calling during the ARRL contest as you can't use Ping Jockey
to coordinate QSOs.  At best I made three QSO during one ARRL contest.
Usually I'm lucky to make one.  However, it's almost always a new grid
multiplier.

It's different with the CQ contest as you can coordinate QSO using Ping
Jockey.  Think I make six during last years CQ contest, again all mults I
would not have gotten otherwise.

I'll be on during the CQ contest again this year and welcome MS (or JT65)
skeds.
