[Wswss] FM VHF contesting frequencies?

What are the common FM VHF contesting frequencies (in Northern California)?

I'm planning on doing a presentation on contesting at a local club, and they need 
help getting started.  For example, at Field Day last year they made one (1) 
contact on 2m!  The club is in Elk Grove (the southern suburb of Sacramento).  I 
heard lots of stations just warming up the evening before FD, so one just doesn't 
cut it...
If they are given a starting frequency, that should help, AND hopefully get you a 
couple of points in the January VHF contest!
