As we touch on the edge of the New Year, it's time to engage our hand held friends in 70cm.  So, beginning this Thursday, I' ll set aside 15 minutes from 6:45 pm to 7:00 pm to listen for FMers on 70.  Tell your neighbors and the kid down the block to get out their UHF capable HT and get on on the air.  446 MHz FM simplex from 6:45 pm to 7:00 pm this Thursday.  If they can't hear or be heard, how about a better location or antenna?
How about a DX contest for HT guys?
Pardon the redundance but it's simply a way of emphasizing ... well, you know.
And for the rest of us, the same routine prevails: 6:30 om through 8:00 pm (excepting the 15 minute swatch for FM) 432.120 MHz ssb.
