I know.  I just put up the twins about a week ago to try hitting some
repeaters to see paths that I might have.  I am about 5 miles from Mt
Whitney at 4600 feet.  My antenna can "see" the San Bernardino Mtns but
not west of there.  I am planning to build a 17B2 with a bunch of scrap
antennas that I have.  I have to bring the boom material from my NH QTH. 
So it will be a month or two before I get it together.  I hope to have
everything ready for the June VHF contest but I don't expect much as no
one points antennas up my way.
 
At least I tried to hear something during the sprint.  My next attempt
will be to hear someone on the BOZO net.
