[Wswss] replacing Prop itch motor leads

Well I decided to take apart a PP rotor that I previously used (30 years).
Just to get a feel about what I need to do.
It seems that once one removes the motor the connection points are on the
lower casing Held in place with a tiny clip retainer.
Remove it with a small tip screwdriver and the bakelite insulators lift
right out. You then can remove the contact sleeve by just pulling it and the
wire with follow. This connection is soldered and a stranded #10 AWG fits
perfectly in the solder hole.
It is actually so simple it is hard to describe!!

After removing the motor how deep to I need to go to replace the motor wires
themselves.

It is in the tower beneath my eme array. Really do not want to take it
completely apart unless I have no choices.

I have looked at the N7NV website but do not see details about replacing the
motor leads.
