We had a great net Sunday with lots of useful information.  Marty, N6VI, passed

along ARRL information about the suggested band-plans for 13cm and 33cm. Be
sure to read and comment at ARRL.ORG.

Net members have asked the net to research and publicize any Rover activity planned for the
June contest.  So far we have heard about K6AH, N6CP, N6HD, W6DR, N6VI,
and N8DEZ.  Please let me know about any activities at n8dez at yahoo.co.uk  or
in the comments section on weaksig.net.

Finally, we have a regular Sunday morning activity on 2m and 70cm in SoCal. We
use the time to try and work DX in Arizona and Nevada. It has been interesting to
track band conditions from week to week.  This past weekend Chuck, N6EQ and
Serge, KT6KT were experimenting with power levels.  Serge was able to hear
Chuck at the 1/2 watt level at a distance of 179 miles!  And with an 8000ft peak
between the two!  Congrats to Chuck and Serge.  Good antennas and good ears.

The Western States Weak Signal VHF/UHF Weak Signal 75m Net meets
every Sunday on 3.920 MHz and 144.200 Mhz from 5:30pm until 6:30pm Pacific Time.
