John:
I am confused at your reply. I haven't contested on VHF in quite a few years. I am simply trying to determine the amount of activity that one may expect to find this June. With the state of the economy (especially my economy) and the cost of gas, etc., I would like to be able to plan my attack proportionately. There were contests past where I spent a LOT of time and money to be a rover and there was nobody out there to work. I can't afford that kind of thing nowadays. I am sure others are in the same boat.
As I stated earlier, your reply confuses me. If you are implying that I am trying to cheat, then you assumptions are incorrect. Before every contest people typically post their contest intentions, e.g., "The Happy Radio Group will be on Mt. Pinos on 6, 2, 222 and 432," or "I will be rover in grids DM-03 through DM-15 on all bands through 1.2." All I am asking is for those reports to be sent now, versus a week before the contest. This sort of information helps everyone to gauge activity plan accordingly. And since these reports I am asking for would be posted on the reflector, they would assist everyone in determining activity levels, not just me.
Hopefully that clarifies my original post and any confusions you may have had about my intent.

Neil - N6VHF
