[Wswss] San Diego 1296 Beacon

The 1296 beacon's regulated powersupply (AMETEK, Inc [Sorensen]) evidently
bought the farm.  The supply is a switching device with current limiting.
It is hard to believe the unit failed as these things are typically the
strongest link in the preverbal chain.  

In addition, the recent hot weather caused the antenna's mounting clamp to
expand.  This allowed the nose of the antenna to slightly drop in elevation.
I realigned the antenna; however, because the antenna's AZ/EL may have been
changed....... signal strength readings of the past versus those of the
present may not exactly correlate.  

The output is presently 14 watts.
