Just finished up the 222 MHz version of the 2m KW amp using the new Freescale 50v LDmos device; the write-up is on the web site now at http://w6pql.com/1kw_222mhz_ldmos_amplifier.htm

If anyone else out there is interested in building one of these, and you cannot make your own PC board, email me direct...if there is enough interest, I'll look into getting some boards made.
