Well it's Thursday the 26th & people are wondering what grid am
I in today...

The departure has been delayed until Moday (Tuesday at the lastest)
to allow Pat and myself a chance to finish up the last of the details
on the 6M KW Rover and chase down NJ0W/R when he is in DL79,
DL88, DL89. With all the craziness on the border this may be one
of the few times in the forseable future these grids will be QRV
on 50 Mhz and I am not going to miss this opportunity.

When I left Pat's Weds evening there were very few details left to be
addressed, Mainly ironing out a snafu getting the laptop to key the 706
in WSJT mode.

As far as the plan or attack goes.... I plan on the following manner of
operation...

When Mobile I'll be CQing 50.125 on either CW or SSB with the KQ
loop. When stopped I'll setup the 5 ele yagi and CQ 50.125 CW/SSB
first and if no activity / opening I'll switch to 441A transmitting first on
260
and receiving on .250. When I detect a reply on .250 I will switch to only
.250 and work stations until I feel no one is calling then resume CQing .260
and receiving.250.

Day one will be about setting up in DM17, Mobile OPs in DM08, DM18,
DM17, DM16, & DM26 and making my way to Las vegas to spend
the night.

Day Two will be about DM25 from Potosi Towers, DM23 from a
high spot roadside stop, with mobile OPs from DM26, DM25, DM24, &
DM23, Then making my way back to vegas for the night.

Day Three will be about DM36, & DM38. With Mobile OPs in DM36,
DM37, DM28, DM38.

Day Four will be About DM39 & DM29. With Mobile OPs in DM28,
DM29, DM39.

Day Five will Be about DN20 & DN00. WithMobile OPs in DM29,
DN20, DN21, DN11, DN10, DN00, & DM09 arriving home.

WX7M will have 40M and Cell Phone contact with me and should
be on the ON4KST Chat Page and Pingjockey to update my status
Periodically.

SO... Things are working well, on the road likely on Monday and
no later than Tuesday.
